Clearing Energy

Once you are comfortable and confident in your ability to discern psychic messages, you can try clearing energetic blockages. I’m recommending this be used to work on personal growth, not work on other people. While technically you could, I would hesitate to make a practice out of it without proper certification. However, I strongly believe in the idea that everyone can heal themselves and want to encourage people to grow and heal without dishing out hundreds of dollars to another psychic (apologies to my colleagues, but I think it’s gross that only people with means are able to do this, it should be for everyone, period.)

Before you start, you want to make sure you are comfortable and hydrated. I would try not to eat a whole lot right beforehand, too. If you’re hungry, get a small snack so you’re not distracted, but a full stomach can be just as distracting so plan around this time. You can do this lying down or sitting up, it all depends on how you usually prefer to meditate. What will keep you comfortable but not necessarily put you to sleep. Light some candles or incense, listen to some nature sounds or frequency music, whatever soothes your soul. Make sure the environment is distraction-free (if you have kids or live with family, wait until everyone is out of the house or when they’re asleep, for example).

Now that everything is set up, you can start. The first thing you’ll want to do is close your eyes, and clear your mind, very similarly to when you meditate. Don’t block out your thoughts, just acknowledge them and let them go until you are fully relaxed. Then, focus on your heart and picture that you are moving your energy into your chest. Try to imagine yourself walking into that space. This is going to be your “control room” where you can navigate anywhere within your energetic system. With that said, you can design it however you like: like a ship with a command console/monitor, a study filled with books, a computer program, a place in nature, however you prefer it to look, whatever helps your physical mind comprehend the spiritual tasks. Take some time to make it how you like it and explore.

When you’re ready, you’ll want to begin searching through your energetic system to find blockages or tears. These are locations in your energy that the flow gets stuck, so if you’re able to visualize the flow of your energy, you can easily see where things slow down and have trouble moving with ease. Choose an area and tap into it. I prefer to visualize it like a screen, and when I tap into a specific area, it opens a door. When I walk through the door, it leads me straight to that spot where there is energetic damage. You can visualize this however you wish, like a door or a hole or a portal, whatever suits you.

Once you have a path opened, go inside. There, you’ll be surrounded by the energetic blockage or tear. Tears are wounds in our energy that slowly fill over time. Blockages are tears that have filled with negative energy (i.e. fear), that protect us from creating more tears. However, sometimes filling those tears with fear instead of love, compassion, or understanding can hold us back from making better decisions in the future and limit our growth and potential. You are free to leave them alone if you believe it benefits you, but if you want to grow and move on, you will have to remove the negative energy and replace it with positive energy. Imagine yourself pulling out the negative energy from that space. Try to understand what it is, what the fear is. What comes to your mind when you interact with that energy? Let’s say, for example, you begin pulling on it and you suddenly feel afraid. Ask yourself why? Let’s say the answer is you’re worried about what might come out if you keep pulling. Okay, keep pulling, but ask why? Because you’re worried if you remove this then you might revert back to a past version of yourself. Okay, keep pulling, why does that scare you? Because you didn’t like who you were before. Okay, keep pulling, why? Because you did things you regret. Okay, keep pulling, why? Because you were upset about something specific and reacted poorly. Okay, keep pulling, what upset you? [insert specific situation]. Okay, why did it upset you?

When you get to this point, you’ve removed most of the blockage and now we’re interacting with facets of the tear. Depending on how deep the wound is, you may need to do this multiple times with the same blockage if multiple traumas compounded the same wound. For example, if you are scared of talking to people in public, you may have had multiple negative experiences with interacting with people in public. You’ll need to go through each one of those negative experiences and dissect them.

Reach into the energy and see what comes to you. Don’t try to force a memory because it could be something that you don’t consciously remember. Just let whatever comes to your mind come up. Sit with it for some time, analyze it, try to understand every detail of what happened, let yourself feel whatever feelings it brings up for you, understand why you feel that way, why things happened the way they did. This will take time, and it may take multiple tries to process everything depending on the memory. But you want to get to a point where you fully understand the situation, yourself, and are able to look at the memory with neutrality. This is how you know your mind has fully processed the trauma. Once you’ve done that, you can move on and keep digging, keep asking those “why” questions.

Eventually, you’ll dig far enough you will get to a point where you can’t answer “why” anymore. Once you get to that point, you have found the root fear. To remove it, you’ll need to understand what the core belief is that you are holding onto that is fed by that fear. So let’s say, the root fear is that you’re scared no one would ever love who you truly are if you ever were completely authentic around them. The core belief is that who you really are is unlovable. You’ll want to let go of that belief and replace it with another one that brings in the energy of love and compassion into that space. To let go of a belief, you tell yourself “No, I am not unlovable. That statement is false.” Then, you’ll need to replace it with a belief that is more centered around self-love and self-compassion. Something like “My authentic self is lovable, because I love who I am. If I love who I am, there are others out there who will also love who I am. I cannot find those people if I am not authentic. Being authentic is being seen and loved.” You want it to be multi-faceted and layered so that when doubt tries to creep in, you have a counterargument.

When the belief is solidified, the healing is done. Blockage removed and tear sealed with positive energy. Now you can return back to your heart and move on to something else, or you can open your eyes. Be gentle with yourself and take time to adjust because it can be a little disorienting at first. Like waking up from a deep sleep.

If you want to write down the experience, or do something to help you process the work you did, go ahead and complete whatever task you wish. Make sure you eat something and drink plenty of water and get a lot of sleep. Over time, you may notice that fear tries to creep back in, just keep letting it go and reminding yourself of the new belief so you strengthen it. But eventually, it will become your first thought when adverse life events happen, and it’ll keep you grounded and calm in difficult moments.

As I said in my last post, these things take time. Be patient with yourself and understand that life is always handing us new obstacles and new lessons. The healing will never be fully complete, you just keep doing it so you continue to learn more and more about yourself as you grow and evolve. It will become easier over time and feel more natural, but there will always be something new to learn.
